Customer questions & answers

Yes, as long as the surface is just wet and not greasy it will bond, depending on the surface structure. For example, you can attach objects on the inner side of a water filled jar or aquarium.

No, Bondic hardens when exposed to light of a specific wavelength. If bonding two parts together where the light cannot reach, one of them needs to be transparent.

Most adhesives start to cure as soon as they are exposed to air and many fully hardened within seconds. Bondic never hardens until it is exposed to the LED light, giving you as much time as necessary to prepare your item.

Yes, after the Bondic material has 100% cured it is completely waterproof and safe for dishwasher use.

Yes, until you cure Bondic with the LED light it can be wiped off surfaces that are not absorbent.

Many projects require the LED to be on for only 4 to 5 seconds. The LED light has a rating of around 8 hours of continuous use, which is plenty to cover both the current kit and many refills.

Like most adhesives, the surface should be roughened so that Bondic can adhere to it. Using a SandIt stick, light sandpaper or another mild abrasive can prepare the surface for a tight bond.
